Annie Lees-Jones is an award-winning scripted producer widely recognised on the international festival circuit for producing Two Minutes, starring Annette Badland, Samuel Bottomley, and Ashley Margolis earning Audience Choice Award at the BFI London Film Festival (2024) and Best Comedy Short at Flickers’ Rhode Island as well as over 24 official selections at BAFTA, BIFA, and Oscar-qualifying festivals a clear indicator of her ability to champion audience- pleasing content. A standout testament to her producing prowess, Annie was also the recipient of the Centerframe ‘Get it Made’ competition as a producer on Like Buses, starring Marsha Miller and Cora Kirk. and notably attached to three out of the five finalist projects, another as runner-up, firmly establishing her as a producer in the industry to watch out for!
In 2025, Annie is selected for the Film London New Talent Strand and invited to attend the Production Finance Market (PFM). She is currently attached to several standout, as-yet-undisclosed projects. and developing a bold, genre-spanning slate from sharp, high-end television comedies to powerful feature-length dramas. championing fresh voices and fearless storytelling.
Alongside her production work, Annie also freelances as a creative producer and consultant, supporting other filmmakers with project packaging, including pitch decks, business plans, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and legals — guiding projects from concept through to market readiness.

Annie’s extensive twenty-five- year creative journey began in acting, where she honed her comedic talents across West End musicals, comedies, and Shakespeare, earning Best Actress for her role as the funeral comedian in Tough Crowd. Her diverse skillset also extends to a successful stunt career, progressing to Stunt Co-ordinator for the RSC and Fight Director for the Royal Opera House. Complementing her practical experience, post-pandemic, she returned to academia and achieved First-Class Honours and a Master’s with Distinction in an impressive two years. This blend of creative insight, practical production expertise, and rigorous academic grounding underpins her determination to produce shows that not only entertain but leave a lasting impact. Her vision for both artistic excellence and commercial success is already setting Well Made Films apart in the competitive production landscape.
