Founded in 2023 by Annie Lees-Jones, Well Made Films is an independent production company dedicated to creating bold, original content that shines a spotlight on new talent. We pride ourselves on exceptional scripts authenticity, and a character driven approach to storytelling that delivers stand out narratives in a competitive global market often with a distinctively British feel-good edge. We partner with award-winning writers and directors who have made significant contributions through recognised programs like the Directors UK Inspire Scheme to take on projects that reflect both creative ambition and commercial potential. We’re thrilled to unveil an exciting slate of projects that invests in emerging working-class voices and distinctive storytelling. Our current lineup includes a diverse mix of genre-spanning projects: from high-end comedies to emotionally grounded dramas, all selected for their artistic merit and market viability.
