Well Made Films
Founded in 2023 by Annie Lees-Jones, Well Made Films is a collaborative independent film and television production company with a focus on telling bold, original scripted and unscripted stories that are both compelling and universal. Our content reflects our love for filmmaking embracing the light and darker sides of life with a key focus of working with new and emerging talent on character-driven content across all formats and genres.

We genuinely care about filmmaking and aim to support and showcase the talent of new filmmakers as well as provide a service to assist with development through to post-production. Artistic ideas and creativity should be allowed to thrive and not compromised because of missing funding, which is why we ask; If you are a passionate filmmaker, film lover, financier, or investor, as a new ambitious and highly motivated company, we are actively seeking support, finding innovative ways to drive the independent film industry forward making it accessible for all filming talent. Annie Lees-Jones
Founder & producer
Annie Lees-Jones is an award-winning British Comedy Actress and Producer. Earning distinction in two degrees, her unwavering passion for the art of storytelling has been the driving force behind her career.
Drawing on her expertise, she assembled a team of talented creatives who share her vision and dedication setting up Well Made Films in 2023. Working with both new and established talent they are united in their determination to create and produce high-quality shows that have gone on to be both BAFTA/BIFA and Oscar-qualifying, attracting viewers and leaving them wanting more. ​​

Thomas Boby
Post-Production Supervisor
Thomas has extensive knowledge of professional Digital Film Editing and an understanding of sound design. His background and in-depth knowledge extend to Visual and Special Effects with a practical imagination for visual storytelling.

Software knowledge includes After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Media Composer, Davinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender & Nuke. A highly motivated individual with a strong passion for filmmaking.
Jay Merritt
Supervising Producer
​Jay has extensive experience and knowledge of film and media production with a broad understanding of the current market and industry context. Jay is an efficiency-driven supervising producer responsible for overseeing filming operations, fulfilment of location filming, transport logistics, health and safety, and HR.
Supervises all crew and/or one or more producers on single or multiple productions.
Carlos Tu
PMD
Carlos Tu is a producer of marketing and distribution; he has diverse expertise in both the marketing and film industries. A producer who is passionate, highly motivated, well-organised, and flexible can handle and oversee lengthy projects such as commercials, music videos, TV shows, and feature films.
